On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, Access students in Starobilsk, Luhansk Oblast, had an opportunity to practice their communicative skills with a native speaker. Christopher Rizzo, a U.S. Embassy volunteer, has been visiting visits on-line activities of the Access Starobilsk group in February 2021. It provides Access students with a wonderful chance to communicate in English with a native speaker and develop their listening skills and fluency. The lessons with Christopher’s participation are held every Wednesday. They include a great variety of topics, including volunteering, the USA history and traditions, and others which Access students discuss with him. Thanks to these meetings, all students became more confident and now can easier talk to foreigners in English.
